Rabbi Brad Horwitz has been involved professionally in Jewish education for over 15 years. Currently, he is the Assistant Head of School and Director of Spiritual Life at the Minneapolis Jewish Day School. Ordained as a Rabbi at The Jewish Theological Seminary Rabbinical School in New York, Rabbi Horwitz holds a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education received at the William Davidson School of Jewish Education as well as a Master’s degree in Hebrew Letters from the University of Judaism in Los Angeles.

Rabbi Horwitz has been leading Jewish prayer and developing creative approaches to the teaching of prayer for all age groups throughout his career and in a variety of both formal and informal settings. He is a regular at Camp Ramah in California where he has served several years as division head, program director, and Rabbi in Residence. Rabbi Horwitz has also led several family Jewish retreats. He has written prayer curriculum and has led workshops and conferences around the country about ways of making Jewish prayer a meaningful and powerful experience.

Rabbi Brad Horwitz has been involved professionally in Jewish education for many years. He is the Director of Helen Mirowitz Department of Jewish Community Life at the St. Louis Jewish Community Center.

Illustrators
All drawings, sketches, and pictures in this siddur are the product of students at The Minneapolis Jewish Day School. Students who contributed range from ages 7-12. Drawings were chosen and placed on particular pages of the siddur to help make the meaning of the prayer come alive to learners of all ages.
