Rabbi Julie K. Gordon has been involved professionally in Jewish education for over 35 years. Ordained as a Rabbi at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, New York City, in 1984. Rabbi Gordon also earned a Master’s Degree in Hebrew Letters in 1982.
Rabbi Gordon has taught children and adults throughout the Twin Cities, helping them celebrate and discover the wisdom of our rich Jewish tradition. She is committed to creating welcoming Jewish experiences for learners of all ages and denominations to encourage their spiritual growth. She served as the rabbi of Conservative synagogues in St. Paul, MN, Green Bay, WI, and Brooklyn, NY.

All drawings, sketches, and pictures in this companion are the product of students at the HMJDS. Students who contributed their artwork range from ages 6-12. Drawings were selected and positioned in order to enhance meaning, evoke responses and conversations for learners of all ages.
